Route: Zurich, Altstetten – Altstetten Railway Station – Duttweilerbrücke

The railway station Zürich Altstetten (399 m above sea level) is one of 13 SBB stations in the city of Zurich. In 1847, the first railway station was put into service in the then-independent municipality of Altstetten on the occasion of the opening of the first railway line in Switzerland (Spanisch-Brötli-Bahn Zurich – Baden). Today's station building is one of only a few high-rises in Zurich (built in 1966 by the SBB).
