Route: Hintergoldingen – Brustenegg
Hintergoldingen (834 m above sea level) is a hamlet belonging to the municipality of Goldingen at the foot of the Schwarzenberg mountain (1,286 m above sea level). The Goldingertal valley, opening towards the river Linth, stretches on up to the Chrüzegg (1,314 m above sea level) in the Toggenburg valley.
The skiing and hiking area of Atzmännig boasts a view of the Churfirsten mountain range, the Säntis (2,502 m above sea level), and the Glarus Alps. In the summer, families can race down the first alpine slide of Switzerland or visit the rope course.
